What comes with the simulator?

Every Minum Archery Simulator ships with the full content library — hunting videos, photo scenarios, and game modes organized into themed modules. All current and future Minum Archery content is included at every tier. No add-ons, no subscriptions, no recurring fees.
Licensed and branded partner content may be sold separately in the future.

What are the different systems?

The Minum Archery Simulator comes in three tiers. Trailhead is the compact system with a 5'x3' shooting area and 1080p HD projector. Basecamp is the standard system with a 7'x4' shooting area and HD + Extra Bright projector. Peak is a custom large-format system sized and built for your space with onsite installation included.

Does the simulator score my shots?

Yes. The Minum Archery Simulator automatically senses and scores each shot. No manual input needed.

What is VitalLock™?

VitalLock™ minimizes camera movement during shot opportunities in our hunting videos. Instead of dealing with shaky handheld footage, every shot window gives you a stable image so you can focus on aiming.

What is CleanStrike™?

CleanStrike™ is our vitals marking technology. The vitals zone is motion-tracked to the animal frame by frame, so it moves naturally with the animal's body. It accounts for changes in anatomy, shot angle, and obstacles, scoring the best possible shot in every situation.

Does the simulator track my stats?

Yes. Full stats tracking is built into every system so you can monitor your performance over time.

Do I need internet?

Internet is required for initial registration, downloading content, and software updates. After that, the simulator runs fully offline.
The tablet remote connects to the simulator over Wi-Fi with no internet needed.

What distance should I shoot from?

You can shoot from any distance, but we recommend 10 to 20 yards for the best experience. Beyond that, some visuals may appear small, but if you're up for the challenge, go for it.

Can I use the simulator outdoors?

Yes. The system works well outdoors with some shade, like under a walled popup tent. Just make sure the screen and electronics stay dry and aren't left in the elements.
If you're shooting in bright sun, the Basecamp and Peak tiers include brighter projectors that handle ambient light better.

Is it compatible with compound bows?

Absolutely. The Minum Archery Simulator handles everything from light recurves to heavy compound bows.

Can I use a crossbow?

We haven't extensively tested it with crossbows yet, so we can't recommend it at this time.
